Registration Inclusions

Full registration gives you access to all conference sessions, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the 3 conference days, the Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner.

Single day registration gives you access to all conference sessions on the day and morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on the day. Single day registration does not include any social events.

Terms & Conditions

By registering to attend the conference, delegates agree to the following terms and conditions:

Member Registration

Membership discounts ONLY apply to those who are members of the Australian Archaeological Association Inc at the time of registration. Refunds for the difference will not be applied if your membership is purchased or upgraded AFTER registration has occurred.

Student Member Registration

Discounted student registration fees apply to self-funded students only.

Undergraduate and Masters students must be enrolled at 0.75 FTE or higher, or 0.5 FTE with appropriate justification.

PhD students must be enrolled at 0.75FTE of higher and working no more than 10 hours per week

(0.75FTW = enrolment at 75% full-time equivalent or higher)

Indigenous Member Registration

Indigenous delegates should be members of the Australian Archaeological Association, however we reserve the right to offer discounted registration fees to Indigenous attendees who are not Association members. Please contact the Conference Manager to request a waiver of membership requirements. All other discounted registration categories (Student Member and Concession Member) remain subject to their existing eligibility requirements.

Registration Confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation and tax invoice. If you do not receive an email within 5 minutes, please check your junk mail folder. If another copy is required, please email the Conference Manager. Your registration will only be confirmed upon full payment of fees.

Payment Options

Payment at time of registration is required by credit or debit card. Credit Card fees will be payable for Visa, MasterCard and AMEX at 1.98% + 30c for Australian credit cards and 3.5% + 30c for International credit cards. Transactions will appear on your statement as ‘Watermark Events’.

Please contact the Conference Manager should you require to pay by another method.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing via email to the Conference Manager. If cancellation is not received in writing, the registration will not be cancelled and a refund (if applicable) will not be processed.

  • Cancellations received on or before 2 October 2025 will receive a refund, less a $27.50 refund fee.
  • Cancellations received between 3 October and 2 November 2025 will receive a refund, less a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received on or after 3 November 2025 are non-refundable, however transfer of registration to another attendee is acceptable.

Conference Scheduling

At any time prior to the Conference, times of advertised events, sessions and speakers may change without notice. The organisers reserve all rights to cancel or postpone the Conference or to change the venue, speaker presentation times, and dates of various events without prior notice.

Data Privacy Statement

By registering for a AAA Conference, you agree to allow the Australian Archaeological Association to use your personal information in registration and notification of activities related to the User Group and the Conference. By registering, you agree to receive email and/or print communications from sponsors of the Conference unless you specifically opt out of sponsor communications by emailing the Conference Manager. Australian Archaeological Association does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
